ABOUT SINGING CITY DAVOS
SINGING CITY Davos transforms the town of Davos into a vibrant stage for live music from around the world. Street musicians and singer-songwriters from many different countries come together to share their music and connect with audiences throughout the town. Artists from places such as Germany, the USA, the Netherlands, Italy, Australia, Portugal, Spain, Canada, Colombia, England and many more bring a rich diversity of musical styles and cultures to Davos.
During the festival period, numerous concerts take place across a wide range of venues – from hotels and restaurants to public spaces in the town center and scenic locations in the surrounding mountains. Performances also happen in unexpected places, such as the Monstein Brewery, in an intimate living-room concerts, and many other unique settings. In this way, Davos truly becomes a “Singing City,” with live music around every corner, inviting people to stop, listen, dance, sing along, and connect with one another.
Alongside the Songbird Festival Davos, SINGING CITY brings live music from across the globe directly to the public, making it accessible to everyone regardless of status, age, or background. The initiative encourages cross-cultural exchange, sparks curiosity for unfamiliar cultures, and creates moments of joy and connection through the universal language of music.
A key partner in this initiative is Davos Klosters Mountains, which supports the long-term vision of SINGING CITY. By hosting the artists at the Mountain Plaza Hotel, they help create a shared home and meeting point for the international musicians. The hotel becomes a lively hub where artists live, meet, and create together, with spontaneous jam sessions and musical collaborations filling the space and spreading the spirit of SINGING CITY throughout Davos.
